Eaase Last updated: 1 May 2026
This page explains how to delete your Eaase account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the Eaase mobile application published by Athanor (ABN 22 125 077 521), a business name of The Trustee for H & S Family Trust.
1. Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside Eaase:
- Open the Eaase app and sign in
- Go to Profile
- Tap Account → Delete account
- Choose either Delete in 30 days (a grace window during which you can change your mind by signing back in and tapping Cancel deletion) or Delete everything now (immediate, irreversible)
- Confirm
2. Delete your account by email
If you’ve already uninstalled Eaase or can’t sign in, email hello@eaase.app from the address registered on your account. Use the subject line “Delete my Eaase account”.
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request. Once verified, we’ll permanently delete your data within 30 days and confirm by reply.
3. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your email address and account profile
- Your onboarding answers, goals, and content preferences
- All sleep ratings, tags, and brain dump journal entries
- Your fitness profile, generated plans, and workout logs
- Your budget analyses, category summaries, and savings ideas
- Your content feed interaction history (views, saves, shares, dismissals)
- Your push notification token and any scheduled reminders
- Your PostHog analytics profile and event history (deleted via the PostHog API as part of the account deletion job)
4. What is kept, and why
A small amount of data is retained after account deletion where we are legally required to keep it, or where it cannot be linked back to you:
- Subscription and billing records — if you ever subscribed to Eaase Pro, RevenueCat and the relevant app store (Apple or Google) retain a record of the transaction. Australian tax law (ATO) requires us to keep financial records for seven years. These records are stripped of personal identifiers wherever possible.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregate event counts that cannot be tied back to an individual user are retained for product analysis.
- Records required to respond to legal process — for example, records subject to an existing legal hold.
5. Cancel your subscription before deleting
Your Eaase Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not directly by us. Deleting your Eaase account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To stop being billed:
- Google Play (Android): open the Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → tap Eaase → Cancel subscription.
- App Store (iOS): open Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → tap Eaase → Cancel Subscription.
Cancel the subscription before requesting account deletion to avoid being charged for a period you can no longer use.
6. Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you’d like to talk to a human before deleting, email us at hello@eaase.app. For our full data handling practices, see our Privacy Policy.
